God Is Doing Something New For You!
19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19)
This verse is God talking to the Israelites - the people of God. The people of God were in a difficult time and they kept going back to past miracles in their life. But God was saying to them "Hey I am doing something new". Also, God was saying "I have already started it."
Perhaps you are feeling stuck like the Israelites. Maybe you are like them and you keep going back to the miracles that God has done in the past. "God you healed my loved one before, you blessed me financially last Christmas, you opened a job opportunity and this company before -why aren't you doing it again for me?" God is not a God that needs to refer back to His own miracles in your life. God knows what He has done. God wants to do something NEW.
You will also notice that in the Bible, that the miracles God did were never duplicated, similar, but not the same. So maybe you need to quit looking behind you and start looking ahead and see the exciting and new miracles God wants to do in your life. In fact the verse says He has already started it and he will take you out of the wilderness and bring water to your dry season.
